Bringing Quality to my Sobriety, Part I
Thursday evenings 5:30-7:30
Cost $320 (4x$40)
This is a closed COED/all gender, process group (limited to 6), 2 hours, and after a screening you will commit to participate for 8 weeks in person. If you have some time of recovery but find that being a sober person is not what you thought it would be in terms of having quality in your life, this might be a group for you.
We will share struggles, and work on identifying negative behaviors and beliefs that are lingering around from our drinking/using days, but no longer serves any purpose in our lives. We will take a deeper look as to why we reach for those behaviors and beliefs, and make efforts to find the traces that had them come about in the first place.
We will use music, art, playback theatre, psychodrama, readings, and assignments to assist in the process. We will increase our understanding how to bring quality into our lives to assist in creating a sober lifestyle of our choice that we each will come to celebrate and rejoice in.
